So I said I would post tomorrow… a couple of weeks ago. I really failed on that front. A lot has happened since then and I will cover some of what that was.
League of Legends: Got my first pentakill ever on my birthday. I was playing Jax and was totally hyped from the experience for hours. There was just a new patch the other day that had reworks of Evelynn, Twitch, and Xin Zhao. I tried the new Eve and she doesn’t seem any better than she used to be. Xin, however, is amazing. I really like the way they reworked his skills. I have yet to try the new Twitch.
Diablo 3: Another awesome birthday event, I found Development Hell in the Cemetary.
Shootmania: This is a game currently in beta that I recently started playing with some online friends. It is very Quake like. There are a bunch of different game modes that lean from slow paced to fast paced. You can find it at http://www.shootmania.com/.
Smite: Another game in beta that I just have begun to play. It’s a MOBA similar to League of Legends. The difference is that it is in 3D. There is no top over view. You are in the action. The “Champions” in this game are Gods. Some of the ones they have right now are Hades, Zeus, Vamana, He Bo, and a bunch of others. I think the current count of gods is 19. I will post some screenshots later. You can see the intro video on their website: https://account.hirezstudios.com/smitegame/.

I had a very long, but exciting weekend. I planned to post yesterday but was too exhausted.
Played a bit of LoL today with friends. Won some, lost some. Nothing particularly exciting happened.
I just signed on to Diablo 3 to check some auctions, made about 70k gold and the rest of what I had in the AH didn’t sell. A buddy of mine signed on and gave me a nice chest upgrade. Gained ~900 health and ~700 DPS from it. My Monk is now sitting at 20.9k damage. I am at the beginning of Act III. I will try to progress a bit tomorrow.
I will post again tomorrow (today really, since it is after midnight here). The post should be longer and more involved as I have finally recovered from my weekend.

It sure has been a very long time since I have posted something on this blog. I was just thinking about how I wanted to start writing about my gaming again being as it is what I do with 80% of my time. I remembered this blog and figured, why start fresh?
I still play WoW. I did take a break for about 3 years though. I came back at the end of Cataclysm and did some fun stuff for awhile doing Dragon Soul and such. It was fun for a few months playing with old friends and guild mates. I transferred a bunch of my characters to Bleeding Hollow and faction changed to Horde. I am a bit bored with it at the moment due to a lack of new content in anticipation of the next expansion.
I am playing a couple other games however. The main game I am playing is League of Legends. I have been playing it for a couple years now, since beta. I own every single champion and skins for more than half of them. I play it almost every day. I have taken breaks from it here and there, but I always come back in the end.
I have also been playing some DIablo III. I have 2 max level characters. A Wizard and a Monk. Presently I am focusing on my Monk as I find it more fun to play and I have spent countless millions of gold on gear for him. I am currently sitting at the beginning of Act III as I just completed Act II tonight.
I won’t be posting anything for the weekend as I will not be home. I shall begin posting again Monday. I look forward to sharing my gaming stories with you and the world.

There is a new forum up just for mages at Magecraft.org.
So far it seems to be pretty active and I am looking forward to this being the next best thing for Mages to use for all your arcane, fire, and and frost needs.
As of now it just seems to be pretty basic, and I don’t know if they will extend just beyond forums eventually. However with a name like Magecraft, it really doesn’t keep them locked down to just a forum.

Sylly of Rolling Hots is writing up information on how each different tank works and how to heal them best. The series of posts are called Tank Triage.
I contributed to the Paladin one. I wrote quite extensively on each of the abilities and things that Paladins can do as tanks and she included much of it in the article.

It’s been brought up lately on a few blogs that it seems that WoW is dying down a bit right now.
The Death of WoW wrote about how he thought population and playtime was significantly reduced lately. Now another blogger is writing about his Writer’s Block. Then there was the third post about the subject in Players vs Socials.
I am inclined to agree with them, as for the last year I have been playing WoW 60+ hours per week. Lately however, this has been cut down to maybe 30… sometimes even less. All I really do is sign on, raid, sign off. I’m not even that into raiding anymore, being on sit out recently has been a blessing in disguise.
I don’t plan to stop playing, I will still raid, I will still play my alts here and there. I just don’t think I will be playing as much, going with the current trend. I don’t plan to stop blogging either, as it is a very nice outlet for me that I quite enjoy. It’s difficult for me to start writing, but once I do, I just don’t wanna stop.
In a few weeks I will be moving, as I am currently out of money. I will be living with either my father or my ‘ex’ g/f. My WoW time will probably be absolutely zero for a week or two during this period. I do however, still plan to write on this blog. The topics will probably be more RL stuff, but hey, it’s my blog I can write whatever the fuck I want.

I don’t know how many of you have seen or heard about this project Microsoft has been working on, but it’s absolutely amazing.
The technology is going to redefine gaming. It’s so awesome, that it’s honestly hard to even put into words, you must see if for yourself, Project Natal.
I am simply astounded by the things you can do with this, and the applications it can be used for. Being able to scan your own things to be displayed in game. Facial and voice recognition. And from the looks of it, you will be able to have video conferences with people that far extend the capabilities of Skype and the like.
This is the first step into virtual reality, and a great one at that. Just imagine where this technology can take us. The games that are going to be created using this… I can’t even think of. I also imagine you will be able to have a virtual avatar of yourself, so it’s like you really are in the game. Watching yourself run around “cartoonified”, it’s just… breathtaking.
I am not a big console gamer, but with this, I am pretty sure I am going to be soon. This is going to be just obscenely awesome. The applications this has are endless, and I hope to see and experience them all.
